Galicia is known for its incredibly delicious and fresh seafood. It is said that some of the best seafood in the world comes from the shores of this beautiful land. Salmon is one of my favorites and if you like it to you might enjoy a little side trip from Santiago de Compostela just 27 km south to the town of A Estrada.
LX FESTA DO SALMON IN A ESTRADA
The municipality of A Estrada held from the 12th through the 19th of may the Festa do Salmon, which will give homage with a tapas tasting elaborated with this exquisite fish. The big party day, will be the 19th Sunday, but other festive days, all attendees may participate in competitions, lectures, tastings and other activities planned for the occasion.
