With springtime arriving, a bit late this year, everyone is excited to participate in the wine events of Ribeira Sacra, known as Sacred Riverbank, was cultivated by the romans and by the monks and hermits who came to live an ascetic life. These settlements, with the passing of time became flourishing monasteries where art, culture and progress spread out to all of Galicia flourishing since the 12th century.
The month of May of full of wonderful wine events all around Ribeira Sacra – something fun to taste, discover and enjoy some new flavors and find some new wine favorites!
FEIRA XLX Wine DO RIBEIRO DO IN RIBADAVIA
Ribeiro wines have great fame and ancient tradition, thus constituting a fundamental part of the history and culture of the natural region of the same name. Each year the fair has an intense program of activities and the representation of the best wineries in the area that offer their best wines in the booths set up for the occasion. This year will take place during days 3, 4 and May 5. It is declared as Tourist Festival of Galicia.
