Galicia is known for its delicious TAPAS! It is a common practice and tradition to receive a Tapa when ordering any drink at the local bars. It is a fun way to try local Galician Flavors. You receive two types one usually prepared on platters that offer you a chance to select which one catches your eye, these are usually cold Tapas, and then they generously offer you a variety of warm TAPAS to choose from. One never goes hungry in Galicia for there is too much good food waiting for you to try.
