One of the very special treasures along the Camino are the local fresh fruit stands and local markets. Something inviting in every little village, town and city as the pilgrims make their way reminding us of times long ago with a tradition still alive today all over Galicia and Spain. I love walking down the street and seeing all the color! There is a wonderful ritual for locals of picking up what you need daily that creates a special experience. It has become a fun new tradition for me that I truly enjoy!
Thank you Nikki Incandela Johnson for these wonderful pictures from our travel adventures in Santiago de Compostela during the Holy Year Xacobeo July 2010. Wonderful memories that are still alive and shared through your fantastic photographs. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents!!!
